Indian Vedic School is a revolutionary academy,

which offers special courses that have been

prepared to give a deep insight into the wisdom and

knowledge of the Indian Vedic culture.

Indian Vedic School was started by Mr.Vikram

Raju and Mrs.Yamini Raju.

Drawing inspiration from our Gurukul education

system, which was predominant in ancient India,

our founder Mr. Vikram Raju has emphasized on

practical learning and followed the concept of

‘simple living and high thinking’.

 IVS curriculum

The key subjects at IVS are:

1. YOGA (GRADE 1 - 10) Yoga is a gentle

and healthy form of physical, mental and

spiritual practices. It was originated in India

and is now followed across the world.

YOGA helps us to be fit mentally and physically. It

consists of Asanas (postures) and Mudras (hand

gestures).

2. VEDIC MATHEMATICS (GRADE 1 - 8)

VEDIC MATHEMATICS shows a simpler

way to master the art of numbers. It is an

ancient technique found in the sacred texts of

ancient India.

It consists of 16 sutras and 16 sub-sutras which

simplifies the most advanced equations in

mathematics.

3. VEDIC SCIENCE (GRADE 1 - 5)

VEDIC SCIENCE includes the study of Vedas,

Upavedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Itihasas, and

Bhagavadageeta. It also includes study of Mantras,

Tantras and secrets of Gods.

VEDAS are lessons taught by nature. Sage VYAS

divided Vedas into four parts –

Rigveda

Yajurveda

Samaveda

Atharvaveda

UPAVEDAS are important details extracted from

each Veda.

UPANISHADS refers to doubt-clearing sessions

with the Guru.

PURANAS are the scriptures that combined the

Vedas and the ancient history. Puranas are 18 in

number.

ITIHASAS is another name for History. There are

two Itihasas –

RAMAYANA and MAHABHARATHA

BHAGVAD GITA states the lessons and

philosophies told by Lord Krishna to Arjuna during

Mahabharatha.

4. RAMAYANA tells us the story of Rama,

incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

5. MAHABHARATHA is the story of

Kauravas and Pandavas.

6. PURANAS refer to stories of Gods and

ancient Indian History.

7. SECRETS OF GODS is a book dedicated to

the myths and legends of the Indian culture.

8. HERBOLOGY (GRADE 6-8) – It refers to

the study of Plants and their medicinal

values.

 CERTIFICATIONS

IVS conducts online examination by giving MCQ’s

(multiple choice questions).

Eligible candidate will get IVS certificate along

with SETWIN (Government of Telangana)

Certificate.
