ข้าวฮาง เป็นผลิตภัณฑ์จากข้าวที่มีต้นกำเนิดจากภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของไทย กระบวนการผลิตข้าวฮางแบบดั้งเดิมประกอบด้วยขั้นตอน การแช่ การนึ่ง การทำแห้ง และการกระเทาะเปลือก โดยไม่ผ่านการขัดสี โดยปัจจุบัน นิยมเพิ่มกระบวนการงอกในการผลิตข้าวฮางเพื่อเพิ่มปริมาณสารกาบา (กรดแกมมาแอมิโนบิวทิริก) ทำให้ได้ข้าวที่มีคุณค่าทางโภชนาการสูง

คุณค่าทางโภชนาการของข้าวฮาง - ข้าวฮาง ถูกทำให้สุกโดยการนึ่งก่อนนำไปกระเทาะเปลือกจึงมีคุณค่าทางโภชนาการสูง คุณค่าทางโภชนาการของข้าวฮางประกอบด้วยคาร์โบไฮเดรต โปรตีน ไขมัน วิตามินบี วิตามินอีและแร่ธาตุบางชนิดที่พบในจมูกข้าวและรำข้าวเช่นเดียวกับในกรณีของข้าวกล้อง นอกจากนี้ ข้าวฮางยังมีสาร GABA (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid) ที่เกิดจากการสลายตัวของกรดกลูตามิกที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสุขภาพ สาร GABA นี้ มีฤทธิ์ในการป้องกันโรคเกี่ยวกับระบบประสาท ลดความดันโลหิต ควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด

Hang Rice application is an application provide information of Hang Rice-the rice product from the folk wisdom of traditional northeast region of Thailand.

Hang Rice product originated Northeast of Thailand. The traditional Hang Rice process consists of soaking, steaming, drying and dehusking without polishing. Currently, the process includes rice germination with enhanced GABA compound (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid). Hang Rice is a high nutritional value rice product.

Nutritional values of Hang Rice - Hang rice was one type of brown rice since Hang rice was partially polished to eliminate the husk. Nutritional values of Hang rice consisted mainly of carbohydrate, protein, lipid, vitamin B, vitamin E and some minerals, which were found in rice germ and rice bran as same as in the case of brown rice. Besides, Hang rice was composed of GABA (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid) caused by decomposition of glutamic acid that is beneficial to health. GABA was applied as a neurotransmitter inhibitor of disease which was related to the nervous system and controlling of blood pressure.
