The Center for Tajuddin Ahmad Research And Activism (CTARA) is a non-profit organization, working for liberty and peace through education. CTARA seeks to empower the disadvantaged, marginalized, and destitute people, particularly children, through education based on learning from the life and works of Bongotaj Tajuddin Ahmad (the first Prime Minister of People’s Republic of Bangladesh), who dedicated his life for people’s emancipation. CTARA strives to implement the concepts of ‘Ideal Village’ and ‘Peace Society’. Research and activism are combined by the Center to reach the target-people in a meaningful and effective way to make research relevant to real life and society, and sustain activism in the right direction.
