Through several years of concerted research under Professor Ellis Jones, students at College of the Holy Cross have assembled a comprehensive list of over 100 company profiles on the basis of their social and environmental impacts.
In the app, you will find ethical grades from international rating systems including: Better World Shopper (US), Ethical Consumer (UK), GoodGuide (US), Responsible Shopper (US), and Shop Ethical (AUS).
These grades combined with qualitative research are the basis for the overall grade earned by each company.
In addition, each profile includes weaknesses, strengths, and abbreviated news articles to offer a more detailed understanding of many of the world's most prominent companies.
Corporate transparency is essential to a functioning democracy, and this app enables consumers to make more informed decisions when purchasing products.
