Government Aviation Training Institute, Bhubaneswar is one of the best Govt. undertaken flying clubs in India and the second best Govt. operated flying club in India, behind only to IGRUA, Rae Bareily. GATI is situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha and is a well-connected flying club.
GATI was started about 70 years ago and flying is operated from commercial international airport in Bhubaneswar. So, the cadets can avail RT services from the airport itself, which is a great boon to experience authentic RT service right from the beginning. GATI doesn’t have many courses as they have CPL program, Instrument rating and night rating only. However it is sufficient for a start-up flying cadet. Hostel facility is also provided by GATI for students.
