Fraxam is a freeware and ad-free application designed for exploring beautiful mathematical patterns called fractals. Each fractal is a little world in itself, awaiting discovery. You can zoom into their depths - theoretically to infinity, but practically this is limited by the number of decimal places that the device can calculate. You can move around the fractal world and explore different areas.

There are many different types of fractals and with each of them different fractal coloring (shading) can be selected, which can dramatically change the end result. Color palettes can also be changed and rotated, giving a different mood or feel to the fractal image.

The fractals in the app have a normal mode (Mandelbrot mode) and another mode called Julia, which is obtained by switching certain parameters in the fractal formula. Each point on the fractal can be used as the starting point for Julia mode, so there are almost infinite possibilities for exploration there as well, and beautiful images can be obtained.

The images produced can be edited, saved, shared, or set as wallpaper. It's possible to produce images up to 20 megapixels in size.

When the fractal is saved as an image, fractal parameters are embedded in it, so when the image is reopened in the app, it's ready to continue exploring.

Video clips of fractals can be produced and saved as well - up to 6K resolution.

The Edit Image section can be used not just for fractal image editing, but photos up to 20 megapixels in size can also be imported and edited there.

There are several fractal images in the Samples section, which can be used as starting points for further exploration.
