Established in 2010, International Institute of Sports Management is India’s only of its kind dedicated sports management education provider, IISM is perhaps the largest such specialised institute in entire South Asian continent. IISM was conceptualized and founded by former India Test Cricketer, Mr. Nilesh Kulkarni. We provide students and young professionals with an in-depth understanding of design and implementation of the evidence-based sports-specific training interventions. Our comprehensive curriculum is a judicious blend of classroom learning along with field exposure to various sporting events, industry assignments, conferences and live projects in the sports industry. Our USP comes from our enviable industry patronage in the form of experts and professionals who design our curriculum, share experiential learning and explore the possibilities of internships & placements for deserving IISM students

We offer Three Courses:

• Post Graduate Program in Sports & Wellness Management: 11 Months autonomous Sports & Wellness Management Program

• Master of Sports Management: Two years full time Masters Degree Specialization in Sports Management from University of Mumbai

• Bachelor of Sports Management: Three years full time Bachelors Degree Specialization in Sports Management from University of Mumbai

More than being just an institute, we have strived to become the movement that creates young heroes with the ability and agility to unfurl new prospects in the sports sector and the business that surrounds it. The environment at IISM is so nurturing and fostering that it instils the spirit of initiatives, ingenuity and courage in each student along with imparting classroom education and field experience side by side. A sport like cricket, especially on a platform like the Indian Premier League, has paved the way for sportainment in India and continues to dominate the field; but newer leagues like the PKL, ISL, PBL, HIL, PWL, various Marathons (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad) have further expanded the sports industry, making it a commercially viable platform. The GroupM and Sportzpower reports reveal that, in totality, the sports industry has grown by 10 percent - up from Rs. 43725 million in 2013 to Rs. 48069 million in 2015. This growth has led to a demand of professionally trained Sports Managers who can organize, manage and administer various leagues, teams and sports organizations efficiently and effectively.
