Irrigation and water resource department of Uttar Pradesh has launched the idea of getting the real time information of major river gauges and dams of Uttar Pradesh in form of Mobile Application which enables officers and users to get the latest updates about the water levels and ware discharges of structures. The system works as a key factor in order to notify all officers who are taking care of water levels in case of danger situation. Field staff users are sending their info in form of SMS which get reflected on Web application map screen. In case of approaching & crossing danger level system automatically triggers SMS to all concern officers such as Chief Engineers and others of department and DM , SP of effected districts of relevant gauge sites.
