Once downloaded, connect to the Viasat Wi-Fi network to use the app without having to purchase pre-paid time or data plans, or simply use your phone's Internet connection when available. No Android? No problem! Viasat Connect is also available by simply visiting viasatconnect.com in your web browser.

1. Download the app or visit viasatconnect.com

2. Create your personalized account with a user name and memorable password

3. Add an optional phone number or email address in case you forget your password

4. Search and connect with friends and family that also have the app or send them an invite to join!

Viasat Connect allows you to:

- Send Viasat Connect messages internationally at no extra charge

- Chat securely one on one or in a group

- Send and receive multimedia messages such as photos, files, and emojis

- Find contacts easily by searching for friends and family by username

- Email or text invitations for others to join

- Upload a picture to personalize your profile
