A.R. Rahman is a composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, musician from India. He is specially acclaimed for blending together Eastern classical music with electronic music, world music and traditional instrumental arrangements. He is skilled at playing the harmonium, guitar, piano and synthesizer. A few of the famed awards bestowed upon him are two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, four National Film Awards, fifteen Filmfare Awards and thirteen Filmfare Awards South.
