Autoilija – mobile driving licence and vehicle information always on hand

The Autoilija application is an easy and safe way to present your driving licence in digital format wherever you go. You can download and use the app free of charge. To register for the service, you will need your online bank identifiers or mobile certificate.

With the app, you can for example:

· easily verify your right to drive, your age or your identity

· check the details of your vehicles (e.g. inspection dates and tax information)

· receive information notices about your driving licence and your vehicles.

To acquire a mobile driving licence, you must hold a valid Finnish driving licence and have a digital facial photograph in the official register. Your photo will be in the register if you have submitted one in 2013 or later for a driving licence or used a digital passport photo in your driving licence application.

Try the app and see how handy it is.

1) Download the app by tapping on “Download”.

2) Identify yourself with your bank identifiers or mobile certificate.

3) Create a PIN code. The PIN code is used to open the application. If you wish, you can also use fingerprint or facial recognition if your phone supports these features.

4) Start using the app.
