Bhagavad Gita(भगवद गीता) is knowledge of five basic truths and the relationship of each truth to the other: These five truths are Krishna, or God, the individual soul, the material world, action in this world, and time. The Gita lucidly explains the nature of consciousness, the self, and the universe. It is the essence of India's spiritual wisdom.Bhagvad Gita is set in a narrative framework of a dialogue between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide and charioteer the god-king Krishna. Facing the duty to kill his relatives, Arjuna is counselled by Krishna to "fulfill his Kshatriya (warrior) duty as a warrior and kill." Inserted in this appeal to kshatriyadharma (heroism) is "a dialogue between diverging attitudes concerning and methods toward the attainment of liberation (moksha)".The Gita, mentioned at the beginning of the war in the battlefield on Kurukshetra, is a dialogue between Shri Krishna and Arjuna, in which Shri Krishna resolves Arjuna's doubts. Based on various examples and analogies, Shri Krishna has guided Arjuna about yoga and Vedanta. This is one of the most important guiding books in Hinduism and the context of the song is useful in making the philosophy of human life soothing. Countless philosophers, scientists and thinkers from different countries and religions of the world have always glorified the book and have given the place of the lamp to the abyss of human life.
