Uses push notifications for goal alerts so doesn't need battery and bandwidth hungry background services checking for new alerts every five minutes.

Football Push Score's Pro also includes text to speech alerts where the scores are read out from your phone as well as options for regular audio and vibration alerts for goals.

Also in the Pro version - choose up to 10 teams for alerts or two whole leagues to receive alerts for all goals scored in that league.

Works using Google's Cloud to Devices Messaging service, requires a Google account and Froyo or higher.
