This mobile App is a medical calculator that indicates the likelihood that a patient diagnosed with glottic cancer will experience a recurrence of the cancer in five years.

To calculate this likelihood we need to know the following patient parameters at the time of diagnosis: age, gender, TNM, stage and alcohol consumption.

To give the likelihood the App will calculate a total score based on the risk afforded by the above parameters. A patient will have a greater risk of recurrence if that patient is older or younger, does not have a higher or lower stage, has higher nodal status and has a personal history of alcohol consumption. According to the score obtained the patient will have a probability associated with recurrence.

If a patient has a high probability of recurrence, special emphasis should be placed on follow-up.
