The name of this site derives from the white sandy road between the coral ledge bordering the coast and a parallel satellite reef that is often frequented by Jackfish and other predators. Jackfish Alley, which was originally known as Fisherman's Bank, water, is south of Ras Za atar. You will have to make a drift dive the place where you will start it is easy to spot owing to the white mark on the cliff. On the right of the sandy plateau there is a vertical cave with an entrance at 14m and a wide exit at 6m. At the back of the cave are a thriving colony of pigmy sweepers and hatchet fish, and there are cracks in the ceiling of the reef that allow sunbeams to penetrate the cave with a disco glitter ball-like effect. On the left side of the sandy plateau is another coral head, slightly smaller than the one standing on the plateau, which is often heavily populated by glassfish. This is the home of a myriad of Glassfish. A little further south there is a sandy bay that must be crossed in a southwest direction in order to see, at 11 meters' depth, another coral outcrop swarming with life and populated by another colony of Glassfish. From here, continue to proceed southwest and, reef, once past a zone rich in madrepores, at 18-20 meters depth you will be at the sandy alley this site is named after.
White-tip reef sharks and Manta rays, as well as Jackfish, Triggerfish and Blue spotted stingrays, fish have often been spotted in this area. This dive site jackfish alley takes it's name from red sea the wide sandy alley that runs to the middle of the site and is frequented by large Jackfish and other predators such as Barracuda and Tuna. The underwater dive starts with a swim through a small cave, coral, exiting onto a steep wall and reef. Follow the wall around over a sandy plateau and make your way onto the satellite reef where large Turtles and Eagle Rays are commonly found. Crossing the alley back on to the main reef at the end of the dive brings you on to thick layers of table corals which are home to a fantastic array of colourful reef fish.
