This App. teaches the user certain key chainsaw operations in interactive 3D, i.e. starting the engine, using the chain brake, changing engine oil and checking the chain tension.

As part of its revitalization of forest training centres in Southern Africa, the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) commissioned this App (there are three others in the series) to provide a mobile 3D teaching platform in order to train chainsaw operators in some key maintenance areas. This knowledge is presented in a way that is visual and engaging. This is learning in a “fun” way.
