UNOPS works directly with the national and local governments, and, in partnership with civil society and the private sector to enable and strengthen access to universal water & sanitation as well as ensure that the policies of the government prioritize equal access to water & sanitation for women, girls, and marginalized individuals and groups.

Presently, we are working as a sector partner of the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India (GoI) for the implementation of its national flagship program, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).
