The purpose of this paper is to stimulate reflection on the factors and variables that increase the likelihood of achieving the success of communication campaigns on the subject of recycling. It also provide a working methodology that can lead to the implementation of campaigns in various contexts and countries. The implementation of successful campaigns that promote correct environmental behaviour is a challenge for many professionals working in the field of waste management.
