Iftitah prayer is a prayer that is read after takbiratul ihram and before reading surah al-Fatihah in prayer. Therefore the prayer is also called iftitah prayer or opening prayer. In the Prophet's hadith there are various iftitah prayers which he taught, including;

First, the iftitah prayer narrated from Abu Hurairah. The Prophet recited the prayer in the fard prayer

اللهم باعد بيني وبين خطاياي, كما باعدت بين المشرق والمغرب, اللهم نقني من الخطايا, كما ينقى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس, اللهم اغسل خطاياي بالماء, والثلج, والبرد

Allahumma baa'id bainii wa baina khathaayaaya kamaa baa'id bainal masyriqi wal maghribi, allahumma naqqinii minal khathaayaa kamaa yunaqqast staubul abyadhu minad andasi, Allahumaghsil khataaya bil maa'i wastji walal.
