Despite its turbulent history of war and destruction, many сultural treasures and attractions of Belarus have survived to tell the history of this fascinating country. There are 27 state theaters and a large number of independent amateur groups in Belarus.

Belarusian cuisine has evolved over many centuries. Traditional dishes from Belarus remain popular. For these reasons, you’ll find that Belarusian cuisine is quite similar to those of Russia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland. The Jewish community has also contributed much to modern-day food culture in Belarus.

Most foreigners visiting Belarus require a visa.

 citizens from Serbia and Montenegro (for visits up to 30 days)

 Mongolian citizens (for visits up to 30 days)

 Macedonian citizens (for visits up to 30 days)
