You’re in the city’s old quarter, and can now say you’re another Bilbaíno or Bilbaína. This area is a little treasure from the fourteenth century, the origin of the so-called Botxo. The old quarter was once the commercial area and port and was surrounded by walls. Today it is a pedestrian area and a commercial district of 240,000 square metres full of businesses, bars and restaurants.
