"Map GPS tools" - an interactive map with useful planimetry tools.

You can use "Map GPS tools" for tracking, measuring and storing your working, sport and leisure activities wherever you are. It can be used for example as a planimeter or route tracker or trekking/hiking planner.

You can navigate on the map shown on display and save markers on locations of you interest (like: parking place, jogging track, mountain trekking track, etc..).

There are different options for saving a location on the map:

- by default You can press the left-bottom button in order to store the location beneath the red cross on the centre of the display;

- deselect "Aim positioning" from the Settings Menu and touch the screen on your point of interest in order to save it on the map;

- select "Enter GEO coordinates" from the Settings Menu and enter the geographic coordinates (latitude,longitude) of the location to be saved on the map;

- select "Record" mode from Settings Menu in order to activate the automatic tracking of your moving (like a route tracker).

"Map GPS tools" allows also following measurings for planimetry:

-distances and angles between two or more markers;

-perimeter and area of bounded by a track;

-altimetric profile of a track (altimetry);

Furthermore,"Map GPS tools" provides:

- a classic compass feature;

- a simple "radar" function that shows realtime direction towards a target marker;

- a "geofence" feature to generate alert notifications when the user crosses the boundary of a geographical region;

- a "position sharing" feature to share a marker position via SMS text message or other applications like email, etc..

-a "Map screenshot sharing" feature to share a portion of map via email or other applications available on the device;

Measures can be expressed by:

-meters,kilometers;

-feets,yards, miles;

-nautic miles;

Please note: "Map GPS tools" requires data connection to Internet and optionally an active location provider (GPS, cellular network and/or WiFi).
