Aplikasi mudah alih YUAG akan meningkatkan pengalaman pameran anda!
The Yale University Art Gallery mobile app is an engaging digital guide to the oldest university art museum in America and one of the largest museums in the country. The app features collection highlights, information about the museum’s history and architecture, a detailed map, a calendar of events, and an object search function. Learn more about the works on view through audio segments from a variety of voices—including curators, students, conservators, and artists.
Founded in 1832, the Gallery holds an encyclopedic collection of more than 250,000 objects that range in date from ancient times to the present day and represent cultures from around the globe. Explore West African sculptures, Chinese ceramics, and Indonesian textiles, as well as highlights of the collection such as Edward Hopper’s Rooms by the Sea (1951), Vincent van Gogh’s Night Café (1888), John Trumbull’s Declaration of Independence (1786–1820), early Italian paintings, and ancient art from Dura-Europos. Spanning a block and a half of the city of New Haven, Connecticut, the Gallery comprises three architecturally distinct buildings, including a masterpiece of modern architecture from 1953 designed by Louis Kahn through which visitors enter. The museum is free and open to the public.
