Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.88 Brings Hero & Battlefield Improvements

The testing phase for the revamped heroes in Mobile Legends has been ongoing on the Advanced Server for several weeks now, with Layla being the only hero left to be tested. Additionally, some other heroes have received slight balance adjustments along with changes made to equipment and emblems. Let's take a closer look at all of these updates included in Patch 1.7.88 in Mobile Legends.

Patch 1.7.88 Hero Adjustments

All Heroes Buffed in Patch 1.7.88

Yu Zhong

We acknowledge the significance of the Sha Residue eruption's impact on Yu Zhong and have restored it. Additionally, we eliminated the Sha Essence effect in order to make his Passive ability more straightforward and improve his gameplay experience.

Passive - Sha Residue Eruption

Reinstated Effect: The eruption of Sha residue has been neutralized by eliminating the effects of Sha essence.
New Effect: Gains Movement Speed when the Sha Residue eruption effect gets activated.

Skill 1 - Dragon Tail

Cooldown increased from 5-3.5s to 7-5.5s
Base Damage adjusted from 220-400(+100% Extra Physical Attack) to 250-450(+115% Extra Physical Attack)

Odette

Odette has the most powerful area of effect damage in the game, but her ultimate ability is easily disrupted, leaving her with no other options. As a result, game developers are modifying it to make it less prone to disruption and slightly expanding the range at which she can cast normal abilities so that she can better compete with other Mages. The developers will monitor these changes closely and may make additional tweaks if necessary.

Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.82 Update Odette

Skill 1 - Avian Authority

Cast Range increased from 6 to 6.5

Skill 2 - Blue Nova

Cast Range increased from 5.6 to 6.2

Ultimate - Swan Song

New Effect: The skills can only be interrupted by limited skills, such as Petrify, Freeze, Airborne, Transform, Suppression & other high-level CC effects.
The dash got removed. It does not work on the second-use component.

Paquito

The developers have improved Paquito's ability to clear lanes and jungle efficiently.

Skill 1 - Heavy Left Punch

Now, when you attack and defeat small monsters in the game, you will also receive a protective shield.

Skill 2 - Jab

Minions that are in the way of developers' paths have now been harmed.

Irithel

The performance of Irithel during the early game has been slightly enhanced by developers.

Attribute

Her base physical attack power has increased from 118 to 123.

Ruby

There was a small enhancement in Ruby's speed when running on the Exp Lane.

Skill 1 - Be good!

The amount of damage inflicted ranges from 80-180, with an additional percentage boost to the player's total physical attack ranging from 65%-90%. This has been changed to a new range of 90-215

Badang

In the latest update, developers have made some adjustments to Badang's previous nerf and restored a portion of his original abilities.

Passive - Chivalry Fist

Stun Duration increased from 0.5s to 0.6s.

All Heroes Adjusted in Patch 1.7.88

Valir

Valir's ability to clear lanes has been improved by developers who have undone some of the previous modifications.

Passive - Ashing

The amount of damage inflicted on the target per second has been reduced from 1.2% to 0.6% of its maximum health.

Skill 1 - Burst Fireball

New Effect: Grants 50% Energy Charging Time when hitting Minions.
Removed Effect: Restores a fireball after each kill.

Benedetta

We have made changes to Benedetta's enhanced Basic Attack in response to the experimental and Lifesteal alterations that were implemented in the previous patch. This will provide players with new options for building their character.

Passive - Elapsed Daytime

Basic Attacks are now considered Enhanced Basic Attacks and can activate Attack Effects from her gear.

Ultimate - Alecto: Final Blow

Removed the initial slow effect. The continuous slow effect increased from 20% to 50%.

All Heroes Nerfed in Patch 1.7.88

Gord

Since Gord's Skill 2 can now hit targets from a farther distance, it is possible to use it simultaneously with his Ultimate. To ensure that the game remains balanced, we have lowered the damage dealt by his Ultimate ability.

Ultimate - Mystic Gush

Base Damage decreased from 135-225 to 120-200

Ixia

The developers have made some adjustments that have weakened Ixia's performance in the early to middle stages of the game.

Attribute

The base physical attack decreased from 120 to 100.

Skill 1 - Dual Arc

The amount of harm inflicted by the attack is being altered from a range of 170-295 plus 80% of the total physical attack to a new range of 125-225 with only 60% added from total

Aamon

Aamon is able to eliminate weaker heroes from a safe distance in the middle and later stages of the game due to the Ultimate's extended casting range. In order to increase his vulnerability, developers have decreased this ability's range.

Ultimate - Endless Shards

Cast Range: increased from 5 to 3.5

Melissa

The ability of Melissa to put pressure on her opponents during the early stages of the game has been slightly reduced by developers.

Skill 1 - Falling!

Attack Speed Boost adjusted from 50-75% to 35%-75%.

Patch 1.7.88 Battlefield Adjustments

New Emblems

According to the leak, the reworked emblem system in MLBB is consist of three parts: the Talent, Subtalents, and Attribute Sets. It will bring players much more convenience to play the game. And the work is still in progress, so there might be new additional changes coming to the final version before its actual release.

Attributes

Common: Hybrid Regen increased from 12 to 15; Adaptive Attack increased from 16 to 22
Tank: Hybrid Defense increased from 8 to 10
Assassin: Adaptive Attack increased from 6 to 10
Mage: Magic Power increased from 35 to 40
Fighter: Adaptive Attack increased from 16 to 22
Support: The Healing Effect increased from 10% to 15%
Marksman: The Adaptive Attack increased from 3% to 5%

Talents

Thrill: Adaptive Attack increased from 15 to 16
Tenacity: Defense decreased from 20 to 18
Life Drain: If a hero causes damage to a Minion and it dies within 5 seconds, the hero will gain back 2% of their health and 1% of their mana instead of just restoring 3% HP upon killing the Minion.
Focusing Mark: Cooldown decreased from 6s to 4s

Equipment

Equipements like Haas’ Claws and Scarlet Phantom also get updated in this new patch. Let's see what equipment get buffed and what gets nerfed.

Haas’ Claws (Buffed)

The weapon called Haas' Claws hasn't been utilized much in fights, so there's a desire to increase its usage and create a new trio of Attack Speed & Crit Chance alongside Berserker's Fury and Windtalker.

Attributes

The Physical Attack decreased from 70 to 25
New Attribute gains 20% Attack Speed
New Attribute gets 20% Crit Chance
Unique Attribute Physical Lifesteal decreased from 25% to 20%

Unique Passive – Insanity

When health drops below 50%, the amount of lifesteal gained is increased by 10%. In addition, there is an extra increase of 15% in physical lifesteal.

Unique Passive – Frenzy (New)

This means that after a critical strike, the attack speed will increase by 20%.

Price

The price increased from 1810 to 2010
Build Path adjusted accordingly.

Scarlet Phantom (Adjusted)

Developers desire heroes who depend less on Attack Speed and more on Crit Chance to have improved equipment alternatives.

Attributes

Physical Attack increased from 30 to 50

Crit Chance decreased from 25% to 20%
Removed Attribute: 20% Attack Speed
New Attribute: 10% Cooldown Reduction
New Attribute: 230 Max HP

Unique Passive – Phantom (New)

When performing a Basic Attack, you will receive an additional 10% Movement Speed for one second. If your Basic Attack results in a critical strike, the amount of increased Movement Speed will be doubled.
Build Path adjusted accordingly.

The Insanity move's Unique Passive has been taken out.

Patch1.7.88 Weekly Free Heroes & New Skins

From June 2nd to June 9th, 2023, the Advanced Server will offer eight heroes for free: Kagura, Fredrinn, Hayabusa, Atlas, Granger, Bane Yu Zhong and Paquito.
The six Extra Starlight Member Heroes are Angela, Badang, Lancelot, Lylia, Popol and Kupa, Leomord.
