Barong ket is a barong whose figure is towering. His figure resembles a human with twice the height of an adult. The male figure is called Jero Gede, while his partner is called Jero Luh. It is said that this type of barong was made to trick spirits who spread disasters. Barong Ket is the most widely available Barong dance in Bali and is most often performed. Barong also has the most complete dance treasure. From its form, Barong Ket is a combination of forms between lions, tigers, cows and dragons.
