40 Judo Throwing Techniques (Nage Waza)

1. KYO I

Deashi-Harai (sweeping your opponent's legs is stepping forward)

Hiza Guruma (sling technique with spin on knee)

Sasae-Tsurikomi-Ashi (technique tossing legs while pulling and lifting)

Uki-Goshi (slashing technique with part of hip)

Osota-Gari (damping technique by means of flanking / clamping outside the foot)

Ogoshi (slashing technique with the whole hip)

Ouchi-Gari (sling technique by way of slicing / pinning from within with feet)

Seoi-Nage (technique dings through the shoulders)

2. KYO II

Kosoto-Gari (a technique of slamming from outside to inside)

Kouchi-Gari (slashing technique by biting from the inside out)

Koshi-Guruma (spinning bearing technique on the hip)

Tsurikomi-Goshi (slinging technique while pulling and lifting with hips)

Okuri-Ashi-Harai (technique dings with foot sweep)

Tai-Otoshi (slashing technique by throwing down the body)

Harai-Goshi (slashing technique with a foot sweep through the hips)

Uchi-Mata (slashing technique while mowing / sweeping the inner stalk)

3. KYO III

Kosoto-Gake (a damping technique by hooking the ankle joint from the outside)

Tsuri-Goshi (slashing technique while lifting the hips)

Yoko-Otoshi (slamming technique while dropping sideways)

Ashi-Gurumu (cutting technique kneading through the legs)

Hane-Goshi (slashing technique using the hips while jumping)

Harai-Tsurikomi-Ashi (a sideways technique with a sweep of the foot while pulling and warming)

Tomoe-Nage (a technique with a round belly)

Your word-Gurumu (slashing technique by moving the spin through the shoulder)

4. KYO IV

Sumi-Gaeshi (angular slam technique)

Tani-Otoshi (slap-like technique fell into the valley)

Hane-Makikomi (slamming technique by jumping while twisting / twisting)

Sukui-Nage (a dribbling technique such as scooping / drawing)

Utsuri-Goshi (slashing hip technique)

Oguruma (a large round slicing technique)

Soto-Makikomi (sidekick technique wrap / wrap from the outside)

Uki-Otoshi (falling drifting technique)

5. KYO V

Osoto-Guruma (big sideburn technique from the outside side)

In the Nage-Waza there are several terms that must be known by the Pejudo namely:

Tori: The performer / conducting the throw

Uke: The receiving / being thrown

Hikite: Hand that pulls

Tsurite: The raised hand

Oshite: Hands are pushing

Judo's later development found several new judo throwing techniques "Shimmeisho-No-Waza" which was revised since 1920. Shimmeisho-No-Waza consists of 17 (seventeen) throwing techniques.
