kat5200 is an emulator for the Atari 5200 and 8-bit line of computers, allowing users to play games and other software for those systems. Note that the system BIOS and ROM files are not included for legal reasons. The user needs to obtain those, sites such as AtariAge and AtariMania can be checked for the required files.

kat5200 does not currently have on screen controls, the user will need to utilize and external controller.
