Samsung Music is as it says... For Samsung devices. I personally have a Galaxy S5, but I've seen it work on a lot of others as well. It's not like your run of the mill music player... If you want a universal music app, check out Google Play Music or Blackplayer. (Free with an option to purchase extra features.)

Samsung Music is one of a kind. Seriously. It has all the basic functionality of a player but it also has a lock screen player... What I mean by that is... If you were playing music, and you press the home button (or power button) on your Samsung, it'll wake the screen to a the album art of the currently playing music. Along with the album art, the background is blurred out and the status bar is hidden (most of the time). With this, you'll be able to control your music without ever unlocking your phone.

One feature this app does not have (in relation to the lock screen) is the ability to scrub through the music to find where you want to listen. (By scrub, I mean swipe on the song's timeline to skip segments to get where you want.)

This app is able to be moved to your SD card, so you can free up your memory by doing so.

Samsung Music reads through all the folders on your storage unit. Whether it be SD card or internal, it reads it all and imports audio files. It actually supports a lot of files, to be honest. If you were to create a voice recording, you can search up the name of that recording within Samsung Music and most likely be able to play it in the app.

Besides all of these things, you can also find any audio file in your file manager/explorer and when it asks you what music app you want to use, select Samsung Music and a rounded box will pop up to play the song you selected. I will include a screenshot below.
