Who is a good human or civilized human? In the view of Islam, a human like this is a human being who knows his God, knows himself, made the Prophet Muhammad as uswah hasanah, followed the path of the Prophet's heir (ulama), and various other criteria of civilized humans. Civilized humans must also understand their own potential and be able to develop their potential, because that potential is a mandate from Allah SWT.

In the Koran it is said, humans were created by Allah to worship Him (QS adz-Dzariyat: 56) and to become Allah's caliphs on earth (QS al-Baqarah: 30). Humans are endowed with reason, not just passions and instincts. The task of humans on earth is different from animals. Humans do not only live to fulfill their lust or bodily satisfaction. There are spiritual needs that must be met as well. All human functions and tasks will be carried out properly and correctly if humans become civilized people.

What are manners? Perhaps, every Indonesian person knows the second precept of Pancasila by heart, namely: "Just and civilized humanity." However, do many actually understand what the words "fair" and the word "civilized" mean in these precepts? Maybe the President or state officials also don't really understand what the words "fair" and "civilized" mean, because in fact, many officials whose behavior and policies are unfair and uncivilized. Look, many officials use cars and luxury facilities with the people's money, even though so many people are hungry, malnourished, unable to get medical treatment and have difficulty paying for education.
