PRAJWALAN is the annual science and technology festival of Government College of Engineering, Amravati.PRAJWALAN was started in 2006 with the aim to provide technical awareness among students and to develop a platform for the technocrats to showcase their talent. It has now become the National level technical festival of India with a footfall of around 15,000+ from all over the maharashtra.

PRAJWALAN is a two day festival event in the month of February at Government College of Engineering, Maharashtra which attracts the people all over Maharashtra and Vidarbha including students,academia,corporates and the feneral public.

The first edition of Prajwalan was in 2006 to ignite the minds of the students and Engineers.New events were launched in the first edition. In its early edition the fund to conduct the event was completely provided by the Institute.
