The thing is most chat sites are like this so.. this is just the internet? I mean the one thing i find confusing is why you would have your profile picture be yourself because most people don't use their face, because they don't want people to see thier face. Other than that people in general are already aware of how to be safe on the internet these days, unless its malware or phishing, i think it will be fine.

discord was never a place for safety tho it was originally created from a website

I AGREE this app isn't safe I have been watching how people gotten there ip addresses leaked.. 

I don't put all of my information on discord I normally put in fake information so if anybody hacks me I'll be fine

In order to for the hackers to get your IP you have to click a link. Don't click links from random people
