The Free Radio begins its story in March 18, 2005, designed by Igor Meola who always directed its focus on poor and had the idea of ​​setting up a radio station to represent this population, seeking to play a transformative role in their lives.

Were 12 years with many battles and hundreds of social projects achievements throughout the city of Vespasian, São José da Lapa and in Ribeirão das Neves through social and web networks, leading a quality communication, responsibility and proving that a station Community radio can represent rather the population. We participate in various charity events in partnership with the "Friends Association of Mines" of Ribeirao das Neves, distributing more than 18 tons of food, clothes and toys in some cities in absolute shortage situation in the Jequitinhonha Valley in the North of Minas Gerais.

Radio Free ever bothered to develop initiatives for social issues essentially establishing social responsibility in its activities. The realization of campaigns such as "Be Cool, Not Use Cerol", "Fighting Dengue", "Environment", "Valuation of Commerce of our City," "Pink October", among others, aims to establish social partnerships between institutions and companies, effecting the ability to contribute to the community, informing and reflecting its role in the social sphere.

As a result of this daily goal in September / 2016, we got the official grant based in Jau street, number 159 near the square of Glory Garden neighborhood in Vespasiano MG, thus beginning a long preparation where we have a partnership of several companies to at the end of September / 2017 Free Radio entered the down permanently with a structure never seen before in the region, bringing together the best professionals in the business who donate their time to integrate the most important means of communication of Vespasian.

We were invited by AMIRT (Radio and Television Mining Association) to participate in the Radio and TV congress in the city of Araxá and we were the 1st station of community radio to join a very important event for communication.

In partnership with leading companies in the city, we managed to set up a way that the radio station Vespasian deserves, with modern equipment and quality, a recording studio to meet the merchants and artists of the city, a communications industry able to guide and encourage local business growth and deliver the relevant social projects for our city, such as "Festival of Children" and "Cool Christmas Without Hunger".
