AN POLICE POLRADIO GROUP

The A.N.P.S. - National Association of State Police - has been established and built non-profit organization by decree of the President of the Republic n. 820 of October 7, 1970 under the name of National Association of Public Safety guards. On 1 April 1981, with the reform and law enforcement 121, it took its current name. The members, who voluntarily adhere all'Anps are employees on leave and in service of the State Police, among other subjects covered by Article 4 of the Statute (meritorious and sympathizers). The honorary president of the association is the Chief of Police - Director General of Public Security. Honorary members are the deputy heads of the Police, prefects, interregional directors and the quaestors at the time, the gold medals for valor, the civic value and the helplessness of the State Police. Currently the ANPS the country has 160 sections, one abroad (in Toronto, Canada), and 35 groups. The association's aims are high moral standard and also aims to keep alive the bond of solidarity between staff on leave and the one on duty. The ANPS is the custodian of the National Medal in the head office which is located in Rome, in via Statilia 30. The Medal represents the sacrifice and dedication to the service of many workers of the State Police who sacrificed their lives to ensure compliance State laws and to protect the security of all citizens of the nation. Their sacrifice is always alive and present in the daily work of all members of the Police. The ANPS is a big family which shares the motto of the State Police "Neighbors to the people", the star of yesterday and today.
