Red Protect helps protect you and your family's devices from harmful web content. With Red Protect you can browse the internet safely, bank online and set up limits on how long your children stay online.

Features and benefits:

- Protect your security and privacy by keeping your devices safe from viruses, ransomware and spyware

- Banking protection allows you to do your banking online without any worries

- Red Protect family rules means you can restrict access to content you feel is inappropriate for your children. Time limits lets parents choose when it’s time for children to put their devices away

- Device finder helps you to locate your device in the event it gets lost or stolen

Safe browsing works only when you are browsing the Internet with Safe Browser.

To easily allow you to set Safe Browser as default browser, we install this as an additional icon in the launcher. This also helps a child launch the Safe Browser more intuitively.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission.

Device Administrator rights are required for the application to perform and Vodafone is using the respective permissions in full accordance to Google Play policies and with active consent by the end-user. The Device Administrator permissions are used for Finder and Parental Control features, in particular:

• Remote alarm, wipe and locate functionalities used in Finder feature

• Preventing children from removing the application without parental guidance

• Browsing Protection

This app uses Accessibility services. Vodafone is using the respective permissions with active consent by the end-user. The Accessibility permissions are used for Family Rules feature, in particular:

• Allowing a parent to protect child from unsuitable web content

• Allowing a parent to apply device and apps usage restrictions for a child. With the Accessibility service applications usage can be monitored and restricted.

Red Protect is a security solution based on F-Secure SAFE to protect computers, tablets and smartphones. More

recent versions also include a management portal, F-Secure Avenue, to help you better manage your licences

across your devices and those of your family members.

• We collect anonymous security data to protect your device

• The focus of our data collection is not on you, but on your device and our service; and

• The portal provides limited visibility among those who share the same subscription
