Rev. Elsen Tan is a pastor and chairman of the Indonesian Charismatic Reformed Church (GRKI) synod. He was called and chosen by God since 2006. He was one of many people selected to study at Haggai Institute (Maui, Hawaii). On this trip, Rev. Elsen Tan received a revelation and the power to heal others from God. This experience and talent led him to create Else Tan Healing Ministry (ETHM).

Rev. Elsen Tan follows Jesus' teachings in Matthew 4:23: "Jesus also traveled throughout all of Galilee; he taught in the synagogues and preached the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven and healed people among the people from all their ailments and infirmities."

To pursue ETHM's vision and mission, under his leadership, ETHM has healed and preached the Gospel throughout Indonesia and its surroundings. Prior to working in his ministry, for more than 40 years, Pdt. Elsen Tan is a successful entrepreneur in the Technology, Food & Culinary Industry. He holds a Master of Theology degree from the International Evangelical Reformed Theological College & Haggai Institute. He received an honorary doctorate degree from the God of the Bible Institute, Indonesia.
