Its a big game... make sure your INTERNAL has at LEAST 2.5gb free after which you can uninstall the XAPK from where ever you DL it to
Mine go to my external SD... if yours goes to your internal the DL folder is in android/data/ inside a folder labeled APKpure then inside downloads...
Also if you havent, try to move all your apps to external (assuming you have an SDcard) to do this its in settings under apps where the app info says storage click it and change it if you can, most apps will move but not all, and it only moves a small bit, but its still helpful when trying to free up space...

Yeah i had this issue with Disorder...
The build in apk manager sux and doesnt like letting you know why something didnt install.

As long as you have space apps will install even if your device doesnt support it... low storage is basically the 1 and only reason why it wouldnt install.

That doesn't help, the app will be in the sd card, but the OBB files will stay in your internal memory

      Ok let me reiterate.
The XAPK files are big they need space to unzip and install via the need for 2.5GB of internal (unless you DL straight to your SD from APKpure)... after installing you can move the XAPK to external for later use(if it wasnt already downloaded to the SD).

XAPKs are just a form of zip they contain both the APK and the OBB files so where ever you move rhem to you are moving the OBBs as well.
And yes you are correct that only the apk file moves to SD when transfering.
However most games are XAPK now a days(meaning they can be moved anywhere) and if not XAPK format then they are huge APKs that store the OBB/DATA with in itself. Transfering allows for cleaning up some space, i never claimed it to be a lot but every little bit helps when cleaning your internal.
And if you dont believe me i just reinstalled LifeAfter from my OTG pendrive, prior to the XAPK being on my OTG it was on my Laptop and a copy of it still remains their archived along with many other XAPKs and as i call them FullAPKs.

      Oh
Another big file people tend to look over is the hidden thumbnails folder in DCIM.
Another tip is to restart device after transfering apps and anything to the SDcard, really.

Deleting things and uninstalling apps, should also mandate a restart.

Ok let me refrase my comment, I already have the game, I was just saying that the obb will stay in your internal and the only app will move to your sd card

      Unfortunately you are correct.
Fortunately you can by pass that via root access and an APP to SD app.

However if rooting is not an option,  you can do as i do, delete the things im not currently playing and keep only my favourites, then store my second favourite XAPKs on an OTG(or SD) and when i get bored i just delete and unstall something else, takes way less data this way.

Always make sure you have atleast double the space as the apk for install.
