Bac Ninh is the smallest province in Vietnam, located in the Red River Delta and located on the Northern Key Economic Region. Bac Ninh is bordered by the northern midland in Bac Giang province. Bac Ninh is located 30 km northeast of Hanoi. Bac Ninh province in the west and south-west by the city of Hanoi, Bac Giang province in the north, Hai Duong province in the east and southeast, Hung Yen province in the south. In the construction planning, this province is in the Capital Region. Bac Ninh is also located on two economic corridors Kunming - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh and Nam Ninh - Lang Son - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh.

Bac Ninh is a province with folk songs. Bac Ninh is the ancient center of Kinh Bac. There are currently 41 outstanding festivals in Bac Ninh. There are big festivals such as Dau Pagoda, Lim Festival, Do Temple Festival, Ba Chua Temple Festival. Bac Ninh people with a tradition of culture, hospitality, diligence and creativity, with skillful hands bearing bold folk of a hundred areas such as silk, ceramics, copper casting, silver station, wood carving, paper, folk paintings ... are outstanding folk songs of them.
