Canossa College of Nursing, School of Nursing and St. Martin De Porres Hospital are three units of the Canossian Charitable Institution Society, Cherukunnu. These are run by the Canossian Daughters of Charity. The spiritual, ideals and motivation reflecting Christian love, permeate all the activities of Canossa College of Nursing, School of nursing and St. Martin De Porres Hospital. Impelled by the spirit of the Divine Healer, this Institution with the Motto “Love in service” continues to provide service to all especially to the neediest and the poorest, irrespective of caste and creed.

We promote an all-round development of the students with special emphasis on cultural, intellectual and spiritual aspects needed to prepare a competent professional nurse who will turn out to be a promising citizen and an effective “ CHANGE AGENT ” in an ever changing society.

Our College has well qualified teachers for teaching and the supervision of the students. We have well-furnished laboratories and library with more than 3500 books and a vast collection of magazines, Journals and CD’ s and Internet facilities. It is recognized by the INC, KNC and is affiliated to Kannur University &Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.

Our College has been declared as “MINORITY INSTITUTION” by the national Commission for Minority Educational Institutions.
