As an artist myself, I have to say a couple things. A) not everyone is good at drawing, only a select few. B) they are really good to get an idea for how you want the character to look. C) Why are you even looking at this if you think it's "Gacha trash" D) If you're making a long video, sometimes this is nice to use. Although art can be better, it takes 3-6 hours for 1 drawing. An average long-ish video can have upwards of 900 things to draw. Plus not everyone can animate to make it take less drawings
