An integrated prevention platform for increasing safety, eco-

efficiency and the functioning of drivers in the transport sector

Unfortunately, the transport sector is all too often negatively reported in the news with serious incidents

traffic accidents involving trucks. The profession of truck driver

is also becoming increasingly complex (certificate of competence Code 95) and more demanding. That's how one should be

driver excel in the field of eco-driving, defensive driving, customer focus, etc. In addition

the sector is aging and it is difficult to attract new drivers.

Toecan is a tool (an app + website) that helps transport companies to create a more positive image

to strive. Through Toecan, drivers are challenged to improve and express themselves

excel in three areas: road-safe driving behavior, ecologically responsible driving behavior (i.e

keeping fuel consumption as low as possible) and general functioning as an employee (in which

skills such as punctuality, customer friendliness, accuracy, etc. are also included).

Toecan initially analyzes and evaluates the performance of each driver and sets them via

a website available to the transport company.
