► Step-by step manual ◄

1. Take a picture of the building with your smartphone/tablet or get a client to send you a picture – the app recognizes various image formats.

2. Set one length as a reference for the app.

3. Measure and scale building elements – get rid off measuring tape and note pad.

4. Cover your roof areas with definable PV modules directly with the automated full dimensioning.

5. Short way to the offer – the app creates an automatic list of materials. Those materials can easily be named.

6. Afterwards you can send the images and results as a report via email to your client – the report can either be in PDF, CSV or JPG format including company name and logo.

7. A clean report for the future is guaranteed – save your projects to access the data anytime.

The “Simple Measure App” from Hottgenroth is the mobile version of the well-known software “Foto-Aufmaß” (desktop-version). Whenever you define an area, a window, a balcony, or a bay with grid lines and arrowheads, all other measurements in the layer appear. This makes it possible to measure areas like the roof that are usually hard to reach – with only one perspective. Furthermore, it will be easier to handle roof work or capture a measurement of a building for example energy consultation and planning of PV modules. After the areas and dimensions have been recorded, PV modules can automatically be placed. The module dimensions can then be used to simulate the photovoltaic system.
