Government application for the sale of vehicles between individuals.

Simplimmat is the official State application to simplify administrative procedures for individuals who resell or buy a used vehicle. The seller and the buyer carry out the transfer declaration together, the procedure is completely secure and paperless (it is not necessary to complete a paper CERFA). The buyer can order their new registration card straight away and immediately obtain their provisional registration certificate

The application only supports vehicles registered in the new format (AA-123-AA) and vehicles of type VP, TM, QM, CL, CYCL, CTTE, MTL, MTT1 or MTT2. These are passenger cars, tricycles and quadricycles, two- or three-wheel mopeds as well as motorcycles.

The type of vehicle appears in field J.1 visible on the back of your registration document (e.g.: J.1 VP for private vehicle).

How does the app work?

Are you a seller and would you like to transfer your vehicle securely?

- Enter the requested registration information

- Complete the information necessary for the transfer of your vehicle

- Share the transfer file with the future owner on your respective smartphones

- Sign the assignment on the application to save it

- Download the completed and signed transfer certificate in the application

Are you a buyer and would like to be reassured about the vehicle you are purchasing and its administrative situation?

- Wait for the seller to share the vehicle transfer file with you

- View and verify the information provided

- Validate the file with the seller

- Sign the purchase from the application so that your purchase is officially declared to the administration

- Download the completed and signed transfer certificate

Would you like to obtain your new registration document at the time of purchase? A few more clicks in the app are all it takes.

- Add co-owners to your vehicle file if you wish

- Enter the contact details of your place of residence

- Pay taxes using the State's secure payment platform

- Retrieve your provisional registration certificate in the application (valid for 1 month)

- You will receive your registration document at your address by letter followed within three days
