Educational and cultural proposal of radio and television broadcasting in Zacatecas.
The Zacatecan Radio and Television System SIZART is a Decentralized Public Organization. It brings together the public media of Zacatecas: Radio Zacatecas XHZH 97.9 FM, Channel 24.1 and 24.2 of Terrestrial Digital Television.
Radio Zacatecas has a reach in 40 municipalities of the state and reaches towns of Aguascalientes, Durango, Jalisco and San Luis Potosí; to the whole world through www.sizart.org.mx. Through the Audionow platform you can listen live through mobile phones for free throughout the territory of the United States of America by dialing 712 432 7072. In the Mexican Republic, the same platform allows you to tune in to the signal in real time by dialing 899 274 6706 It maintains current agreements with Spanish Public Radio of Chicago, Illinois, with Radio Educación, with Radio France Internacional and with Deutsche Welle.
Canal 24.1 is the first educational and cultural television station in Zacatecas, which broadcasts in an open system with a reach in the municipalities of Calera, Ojocaliente, Enrique Estrada, Guadalupe, Fresnillo, Jerez, Veta Grande, Trancoso, Pánuco and Zacatecas.
Canal 24.2 transmits the programming of Canal Once Niños, the only Mexican signal dedicated to children, a public television station belonging to the National Polytechnic Institute.
SIZART belongs to the Educational and Cultural Radio and Television Network of Mexico. As an associate, you can receive and send content for free throughout the country and to much of the US, Latin America and the Caribbean.
The radio frequencies of the member systems of this Network reach more than 20 million radio homes and together reach a total of 79 million listeners in Aguascalientes, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Chiapas, Mexico City, Coahuila, Colima, Durango, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala, Veracruz and Zacatecas.
The television signals of the Network's member systems reach more than 22.5 million telehomes and almost 90 million viewers in Aguascalientes, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Mexico City, Colima, Durango, the State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, Tabasco, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Yucatán and Zacatecas.
The public media that belong to the Network are not for profit. For this reason, the broadcasts of its educational and cultural content are made available to associates to generate more and better audiences that know and recognize the richness of our country in traditions and values.
