Application of SRTB Radios and Televisions

The purpose of the Benin Radio and Television Company (SRTB) is, in general, the organization and management of public audiovisual service press organs, the publishing of public service audiovisual communication programs and other related activities. As such, it is responsible, through its press organs:

• To design and edit general information broadcasts and television broadcasting programs intended for the public, meeting the political, economic and socio-cultural objectives of the Beninese State, in compliance with the laws and regulations in the Republic of Benin;

• To produce, co-produce, acquire, exchange and program radio and television broadcasts intended for the public without distinction of race, culture, sex and religion;

• To generate advertising revenue;

• To offer any services, assistance or cooperation in matters of radio and television broadcasting;

• To carry out all commercial, financial, movable and real estate operations, which may be directly or indirectly linked to the above object or to any similar or related object, likely to promote its extension or development.
