When receiving the information is critical, users will receive an audible alert on their phone, even when set to “silent” or “do not disturb.”

App users can also use Alerta Mexico to immediately connect to emergency assistance personnel in Mexico through the app’s SOS button over WiFi when cellular services are not available.
