a frozen cake but undecorated it tastes just as good as an undecorated cake but the festive and fun factor is much better with the decorated ones. But time, skill, chaos, confusion about what really should be done? It can be very frustrating when all you want is a party cake. Some time ago, I threw a quick cake and decorated it like a champ. The portion of the cake came out nicely (I'm a pretty good baker), but the decoration is a bit off. Like, too heavy, sagging on the sides. But I say what, no one noticed because the decoration stole the show.
