The Kurukshetra, Haryana based college came into existence in the year 2007. Established by the well known Shanti Devi Educational Trust (SDET), the institute is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Department of Technical Education (DTE), Haryana. Affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, the institute imbibes a mission that is 'To provide exceptional professional training to students to enable them to successfully meet the challenging demands of the global market.' The ISO 9001:2008 certified institute has successfully accomplished 7 years of Academic Excellence with competent placement record. KITM is the select channel partner for IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur to provide with its web based distance learning programmes. The KITM embraces numerous active and advanced research programmes such as NPMASS, a nation wide project and also conceived MEMS based sensors for ISRO, IGCAR and DRDO.
