The Lucky Blocks MOD adds an exciting element to the game.
The Lucky Blocks MOD adds an exciting element to the game. It looks very much like a block but it is in fact an entity which you can kill. Once it is killed something random will happen. If you are lucky you might get lots of valuable items but sometimes something much worse happens such as the wither boss spawning.
How does it work?
Pigs are replaced by lucky blocks. That means you will be able to find find them spawning in most biomes in the Overworld. Every time that you destroy a lucky block something random happens.
The first time I ever tried it I wasn’t too lucky. The wither boss spawned and immediately killed me. You really have to be careful if you are doing this in survival mode and make sure to bring your best weapons and armor.
Don’t get discouraged by immediate failure. You just gotta keep at it and eventually some good things will start happen to you. Here’s a good example of some valuable items spawning.
Here is a list of all things which can happen.
Wooden tools
Redstone items
Valueable items, e.g. diamonds
Enchanted items
No drop
Iron items
Wool
Ignited TNT
Sheep
Villager
Creeper
Wither Boss
