Mecca or Makkah (مكة) is a city in the Hejaz and the capital of Makkah province in Saudi Arabia. Worshipers around the world comes during Hajj period held in the twelfth Muslim lunar month of Dhu al-Hijjah.and many vist during Ramdan to participate in Tarwaeeh prayer /Salah.The Hajj, the 'greater' pilgrimage is performed annually in Mecca/Makkah and nearby sites. During the Hajj, several million people of varying nationalities worship in unison.
Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage, is performed the Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage, while visiting the Masjid al-Haram.
