SSG is a GoG initiative for benchmarking schools.
1)Shala Swachhta Award is the state government’s initiative to institutionalize and incentivize good practices in WASH and child friendly environment.
2)Shala Swachhta Gunak (SSG), is a benchmarking program under Shala Swachhta Award for Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) in schools with support from Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) and UNICEF.
The Shala Swachhta Gunak (SSG) Mobile App is developed to achieve the following objectives:
1)To Access / Update the real time information on WASH performance of all schools in the State.
2)Use reports generated for improvement, planning & decision making.
3)E-Learning modules on WASH in Schools for teachers
4)Enhance understanding, ownership & performance of schools and key stakeholders about WASH in schools.
